A knocked-out tooth. Hold it by the crown, never the root. Keep it in milk or saliva and call immediately — with this one, minutes matter.
A crown or veneer that came off. Keep the piece and bring it with you. Do not glue it back yourself: home adhesives can damage the tooth underneath and often make the final repair harder.
A chipped or broken tooth. Rinse gently with warm water and save any fragments you can find. Avoid chewing on that side until we see you.
When tooth pain is an emergency. Call us if the pain is severe or throbbing. Pain that wakes you at night usually means the nerve is involved and will not settle on its own.

The acute moment — the pain, the broken edge, the gap where a tooth used to be — passes quickly. What most people underestimate is the rebuild that comes after. Many patients find us once the emergency has settled, when they are ready to think about restoring what was lost. That second half is where the real dentistry lives.
A tooth lost to a fall or an accident does not just leave a space. It leaves changes in the bone and gum underneath, and rebuilding it so it looks like it was never gone is a reconstructive and cosmetic problem, not a quick filling. The hard part is the detail: a natural gum line, and a replacement that matches the shape, shade, and translucency of the teeth beside it. Get that wrong and the repair announces itself every time you smile.
Cosmetic repair and dental trauma.
Broken and chipped teeth. Chips, fractures, and broken bonding are repaired and shaped to match the teeth around them.
Lost crowns and veneers. A crown or veneer that came off is often re-bonded the same week, or replaced if it is cracked or worn.
Teeth lost to trauma. Fractures and tooth loss from a fall, a car accident, a fight, or a bike or scooter accident. Most teeth lost to trauma are replaced with a dental implant that sits at the right gum line. If bone or gum was lost along with the tooth, bone grafting and gum surgery rebuild that first.
Several teeth damaged or lost. Where several teeth were damaged or lost, full mouth reconstruction rebuilds a functional, natural-looking smile as one plan.
Under one roof. Because the same practice handles the surgery and the final teeth, the rebuild stays coordinated from start to finish. What a repair costs.
It depends on what was damaged. A simple re-bond is modest; a full rebuild with grafting and implants is a larger investment.
A tooth lost to trauma and replaced with an implant is $7,000, with a custom shade-matched crown; the price includes the extraction, any socket graft and the temporary tooth. $84/month: 144 payments at 9.99% APR, on approved credit.
A larger rebuild is quoted as one plan. Two front teeth lost after an abscess, in this case, came to $24,000, and each case page states its total.
You have a written cost from us before you commit to anything. Most PPO plans contribute toward the cost of treatment. Financing is available.

Most cosmetic dentists refer out for surgery. Most surgeons do not do cosmetic work. Dr. Mehdizadeh trained in both: implantology and bone grafting at Loma Linda and UCLA, fixed prosthodontics under Mauro Fradeani in Italy, periodontal microsurgery with Hürzeler and Zuhr in Munich, and IV sedation at the University of Alabama.
He performs every stage himself: the gum and bone work, the implant placement and the final restorative design, with our laboratory in the same building. No referrals out and no handoffs between one practice's plan and another's.
