Our approach
Natural, functional, exquisitely made
We combine broad knowledge across multiple specialties, deep experience and good taste to create exquisite outcomes: smiles that look natural and work the way teeth should.
A smile looks “done” for one of two reasons. Either the teeth are too white, too wide or too even for the face they sit in, or they were designed without the bite, so they chip, wear or shift. Both are prevented the same way: the bite is worked out first, the proportions are designed to the face, and no tooth is prepared until you have seen the design.
That range sits with one doctor. Gum surgery, bone grafting, implant placement, IV sedation and the final porcelain are planned and carried out by Dr. Mehdizadeh himself, so a case is never passed between offices. The ceramist sees each patient and matches the shade in the patient’s own light rather than from a written note. Dr. Mehdizadeh has designed 12,000+ veneers since 2012.

Kiyan Mehdizadeh, DMD
Dr. Mehdizadeh earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine, cum laude, at Boston University, then trained in the disciplines that usually live in separate offices: implant dentistry and bone grafting at Loma Linda and UCLA, fixed prosthodontics under Mauro Fradeani in Italy, and periodontal microsurgery in Munich. He trained in IV sedation at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and provides it in his own office, so long surgical and restorative visits can be completed in a single sitting.
He has been in private practice since 2012. Every case is planned and performed by him, and the same small team stays with it from the first appointment to the last.

Treatments
What we do
Porcelain veneers correct shape, color, spacing and proportion, and are designed to the face rather than from a template. Dental implants replace a single tooth or several. All-on-4 implants replace a full arch with fixed teeth. Full mouth reconstruction rebuilds a worn or failing mouth as one sequenced plan. Wisdom teeth can be removed, all four, in one appointment, and sedation dentistry lets nervous patients, and long treatments, be completed in comfort.

What the first visit involves
A first visit begins with what you want: what you would change if you could, what you have never liked, and what you would like people to notice. That answer sets the direction for everything that follows.
Then come photographs, x-rays and an assessment of the bite, because the bite determines what is possible and what will last.
There is usually more than one way to reach the result you want, and each differs in cost, in time and in how it ages. We set out those differences plainly, so the decision is yours. You leave with a sequenced written plan and a total cost, and no figure changes without a conversation first.
